How Hard Is It To Become A Special Agent?
All applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of work experience. The FBI is looking for agents with the following skills:
During the 16 weeks of training at the academy, you will receive a modest salary. After earning the full badge, you will earn a starting salary of $53,743 to $58,335 annually. The most experienced agents can earn up to $113.00 per year. The first step is to apply online to become an FBI special agent. Be prepared with all your personal information and links at hand. You will be asked to complete a physical fitness assessment as part of the initial application.
If you meet the pre-screening requirements, after you submit your application, you will be required to take the FBI’s Stage 1 test. This test lasts for three hours and tests your logical, behavioral and cognitive skills. It is important that you excel in this exam. If you don’t score 70% or higher, you won’t be able to move on to the next stage of the job.

In the interview, you will learn the secrets of the private agent selection system. You will be evaluated by a panel of interviewers. Don’t be fooled by the “meeting” aspect of the interview, you are evaluated from the moment you walk in, this is the FBI.
If you excel at the Meet and Greet, you are lucky enough to move on to the second stage: which consists of a written assignment and a formal structured interview. The writing task lasts 90 minutes. You will be given a set of basic data and have to analyze the data and prepare a comprehensive report. The structured interview for the second stage will last 60 minutes. You will face a panel of panelists who will focus on your critical thinking skills and all-round skills.
Long live! If you pass the second stage, you will receive a Conditional Job Offer (CJO). You will then be required to schedule a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and pass a background check. You’re Not Safe: The PFT is an extreme physical endurance test that follows the FBI’s rigorous physical protocol.

How To Pass The Special Agent Entrance Exams
The FBI Academy’s mission is to train New Agent Trainees (NATs) for service. During training, you will spend 16 weeks building the foundation of becoming an agent with your classmates, learning four key areas: academics, live-fire drills, firearms training, and operational skills.
Classmates support you and become your best friends and partners during the time you spend together. Class leaders, counselors, and teachers will challenge and lift you up.
After graduating from BFTC, you will be assigned to one of 56 field offices located across the country. You will not usually be assigned to the location where your application is processed.
