Job Grade: 145071 Rev: 8/12 Non-Exempt Page: 1 Job Description Front Desk Manager Grade Description This is a supervisory position in which the incumbent performs duties related to front desk operations and oversight of The Inn at Ole Miss. Responsible for front desk supervisors, guest service agents, night auditors, bellmen and shuttle drivers; providing quality service to guests; and maintaining inventory and storerooms. This position reports to the Assistant Manager – The in Ole Miss. Work examples assist with staff recruitment, training and ongoing supervision. Provides performance feedback to front desk staff, maintains performance documentation and conducts annual performance reviews. .Develops and maintains work schedules for office staff. Updates and maintains Property Management System (PMS) with current room types, descriptions, rates and zip codes. Ensures that guest room reservations are made in a manner that maximizes room occupancy and utilizes the appropriate average daily rate through knowledge of the hotel reservation system. Maintains hotel inventory and oversees hotel rooms. Coordinates supplier purchases and receipts with vendors and creates daily reports to ensure uniform levels are maintained.
