Florida Tech’s online master’s in behavior analysis (MA) offers students a quality educational experience, working with experts in the field, and a flexible schedule to accommodate busy professionals. M.A. The program requires students to complete 33 credits of coursework, of which 21 credits will be considered for certification. Additional credits are designed to assess, develop and strengthen practical competencies in the application of behavior analysis.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides a scientific, systematic, and strategic approach to behavior study and teaching. It is often implemented as an intensive therapeutic or educational practice and focuses on socially relevant behavior. It is characterized by continuous and systematic observation, data collection and frequent evaluation of student progress. ABA treatments focus primarily on building functional skills, but also address behaviors that interfere with a person’s ability to learn or function effectively in their daily lives. ABA practitioners currently work in a variety of fields, including education, health (including mental health), business administration, sports, animal training, and improved training and goals. ABA does not have a “one size fits all” strategy; Every problem is different, every person is unique.

The online format offers advantages through flexible scheduling and enhanced learning standards that combine asynchronous and synchronous delivery.
